Our technicians follow a structured mechanical checklist designed to verify that each vehicle meets our operational standards prior to sale.

As a first priority, the engine long block is evaluated to ensure it is mechanically sound. Every engine is compression tested, and if any cylinder falls outside Fleet Source’s defined tolerance parameters, the engine will be replaced with a remanufactured long block.

Replacement engines carry a 3-year / 36,000-mile warranty from the remanufacturing supplier. If your truck is equipped with a replacement engine, you will receive instructions for completing the warranty registration process.

To maintain warranty eligibility, the owner must retain documentation for all required oil changes and maintenance intervals. Failure to maintain proper service records may void eligibility for replacement engine coverage and associated labor reimbursement.

In addition to engine verification, all remaining major mechanical systems are inspected and tested. Components found to be outside acceptable operating tolerances are repaired or replaced as part of the reconditioning process.
